•God shares the vedas with humanity through Rishis
•They are heard so they are called Shrutis
•By Karna Parampara (listening) and not Hasta Parampara (writing)
jñānaṁ tehaṁ savijñānam idaṁ vakṣyāmy aśeṣataḥ I yaj jñātvā neha bhūyo anyaj jñātavyam avaśiṣyate II
I shall completely impart to you this Jnana along with Vijnana gaining which knowledge nothing more remains to be known in this life.
Word Meaning
•aham = I;
•vakṣyāmi = will explain;
•te = to you;
•aśeṣataḥ = in full;
•idam = this;
•jñānam = Knowledge; [which is]
•savijñānam = Realized experiential Knowledge; [after knowing]
•yat = which;
•jñātvā = knowledge;
•avaśiṣyate = there remains;
•na = nothing;
•iha = here [in this world];
•bhūyaḥ = again;
•jñātavyam = knowable;
•anyat = besides [this]

•Lord Krishna divided the knowledge of the nature of God into two:
•1. Jnanam
•Lower nature/Apara Prakriti/ Saguna Swaroopam
•Saguna Jnanam is Dvaita Jnanam
•2. Vignanam
•Higher nature/Para Prakriti/ Nirguna Swaroopam
•Nirguna Jnanam is Advaita Jnanam
AparaPrakriti and Para Prakriti
•Both of them are Anadhi Tatvam, i.e. beginning-less and end-less
•Both of them together (Ishwara) are the cause of the Universe
•The Universe is the manifestation of the Lord
Waves and ocean are one and the same -- water

Meaning:
1.1: The Guru is Brahma, the Guru is Vishnu, the Guru Deva is Maheswara (Shiva),
1.2: The Guru is Verily the Param-Brahman (Supreme Brahman); Salutations to that Guru.
My guru Himself is in the form of Supreme Brahman (guru eva paraṃ brahma).
He appears as -
(1) (Guru Brahmā), the creator of knowledge;
(2) (Guru Viṣṇu ), the sustainer of knowledge;
(3) (Guru devo Maheśvara ), the destroyer of ignorance.
(4)That guru, I worship.
